October 2019 Chiropractic Health Care Month Resources
States all around the country, along with the American Chiropractic Association, are celebrating October as Chiropractic Health Care Month.
In Illinois, Governor Pritzker has issued a proclamation to designate October 2019 as Chiropractic Health Care Month. The proclamation highlights the benefits and importance of chiropractic care throughout the State. The proclamation also recognizes the dedication chiropractic physicians have for their patients. Every year approximately two million patients in Illinois visit chiropractic physicians.
For you to show support and raise awareness for the effort of Chiropractic Health Care Month, we encourage you to post this proclamation in your office. Together we want to promote the benefits of chiropractic care and its role in improving posture, development and providing good health. The State of Illinois proclamation can be found by clicking here.
To further advance patient awareness about the positive impact of chiropractic, the ICS has created Healthier Illinois, an online natural health resource for Illinois consumers. On the Healthier Illinois Facebook page and twitter account, you will find infographics to share with your patients. You can access Healthier Illinois in three ways:
1. the Healthier Illinois website at https://healthierillinois.com/
2. “like” Healthier Illinois on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/healthierillinois/
3. follow us on Twitter at @HealthierIL
In addition to the proclamation, the American Chiropractic Association has provided resources for you, your patients, and prospective patients. Resources include social media posts, patient handouts, marketing plans, and branding information.
