CME Requirements

CME Requirements

For the 2026 renewal (August 1, 2023 – July 31, 2026), a licensee will be required to complete 150 hours of continuing medical education (CME).  Applicants renewing their chiropractic license for the first time following the issuance of a license are not required to complete the 150 hours of CME.

CME Breakdown:

  • A minimum of 60 hours Category 1
  • A maximum of 90 hours Category 2

Mandated CME Requirements

Every Three Years:

Advertisement

  • Sexual Harassment Prevention (1 hour)
  • Implicit Bias (1 hour)

Every Six Years:

  • Cultural Competency (1 hour)
  • Recognizing Dementia (1 hour)
  • Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse: Training for Mandated Reporters (1 hour)
