Today (September 1, 2011) many parts of the new Workers’ Compensation Act take effect and the ICS wants to ensure you know what changes occur, and what steps you need to take. Understandably, no one is happy to hear that he or she is the subject of a license investigation by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR). However, as with any other worrisome situation, lack of knowledge about the process causes much of the trauma. There can be long blocks of time during which the licensee hears nothing, which in itself is very unnerving. In addition to the information it provides about media use by the young, it also is able to track the changes in media habits, as well.
