We are one year out from license renewal, and you want to make sure that you are getting ready for that. You put it on your calendar so your first to do make sure that you put July 31, of 2026, on your calendar as the license renewal deadline. You have to have everything taken care of your renewal paperwork, done all of your CME, your payment made, everything has to be done by July 31 of 2026. Put it on your calendar. I would add another one about 60 days in advance of that. Throw it in there for May 31 or June 1 as a reminder for you not to forget to go ahead and start actually filling out the paperwork and making sure that everything is done. This is not something you want to set aside. This isn’t something you want to to ignore. You’re not going to not be diligent about you want to make sure that it’s on your radar.
Now, what does all this mean? You want to make sure that you get your full suite of 150 hours of CME that are required. That’s 90. Category Two. It’s 60. Category One. It’s all of the mandated courses, the very specific courses. And how do you get all this done? Well, for one, you can actually sign up for the ICS fall convention. In fact, you can just go to icsfallconvention.com and get all of your information. You can go to illinoiscme.com and look at the actual course lineup that we have coming up in that first weekend in October, and we look forward to seeing you there.
Your mandated courses are all going to be available, or already are available to you on-demand. You can jump out also just illinoiscme.com and get all of that information and get those hours taken care of now. Don’t fall behind. Don’t wait till the last minute. Don’t try to pack it all into your summer next summer, you want to make sure that you have time with your family and you can take care of all of that. So start moving all of those forward on your priority list to get your hours taken care of. Again, put it on your calendar, July 31, of 2026, we’re one year out, and we’ll catch you next week.
