Your Board of Directors and staff leaders took time away from practice and families to continue to pursue our mission. The ICS continues to focus on and press toward ensuring that 18% of Illinoisans are treated by a chiropractic physician. I want to thank the Board of Directors for dedicating their weekend to work toward making 18% by 2018 a reality.
Throughout 2015, the ICS will continue to meet and influence the people who make insurance coverage decisions. In fact, we all know many of these decision-makers in our personal lives and may even treat them in our practices. Some of these might be union heads, company presidents, and others. We continue to gather these contacts and will work with you in meeting with these key decision-makers.

Additionally, I recently attended a webinar from the ICS, which featured Dr. Fucinari speaking on PQRS. I also attended a regional Medicare seminar and the Heartland Symposium last month. It has been refreshing to know that my standard dues cover the cost of all my online learning (24 webinars in 2015, plus additional online courses) through the ICS, and my Platinum membership upgrade has included the Medicare seminars, upcoming ICD-10 seminars, and my Heartland Symposium registration fees.
