We all want a workplace that is safe for our employees, our patients, and for us, but what does that look like in practice? When dealing with the specific subject of fire safety, evacuation plans, fire extinguishers, sprinkler systems, fire suppressants, and other emergency plans can become incredibly cumbersome. Fortunately, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has provided guidance on developing the appropriate plan in the office.

The Illinois Chiropractic Society Constitution requires the announcement of the results of the election of officers and designated directors-at-large assuming positions on January 1 of the following year. These elected members of the ICS Board of Directors were nominated by committee and elected by ICS members in good standing.

The Illinois Chiropractic Society is continuing efforts to resolve with BCBSIL the problematic claims processing protocol implemented in November 2017. Many of our doctors continue to receive denials when billing services that require a billing modifier (primarily 25, 59, XS, and XU).
