Chiropractic physicians in Illinois faced new challenges and opportunities over the last several years. The ICS provided you with the critical information necessary to navigate these regulatory challenges and implement practice opportunities for your office. As we advance into 2023, the ICS will continue to be the source of information that you can trust in our ever-changing environment.

As a result of our efforts, 2022 also brought legislative successes for the chiropractic profession. The ICS worked closely with bill sponsors, the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR), and other stakeholders, to revise the wording of proposed amendments within the Naprapathic Practice Act extension, Dietitian Nutritionist Practice Act extension, and the Athletic Trainers bills. The legislature incorporated our recommended amendments in these bills, which now ensure greater physician parity and equality and protect the chiropractic profession.
