Understandably, no one is happy to hear that he or she is the subject of a license investigation by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR). However, as with any other worrisome situation, lack of knowledge about the process causes much of the trauma. There can be long blocks of time during which the licensee hears nothing, which in itself is very unnerving. Knowing what procedures to expect, together with careful handling of the case, can ease the stress considerably.

The Kaiser Family Foundation Study is also unique for the fact that it has completed its 3rd wave since 1999. In addition to the information it provides about media use by the young, it also is able to track the changes in media habits, as well. The initial study was released in 1999, the second in 2004 and the most recent in 2009.
