Jolie Patel on ICS: “It’s Made Me So Much More Effective”

Office Manager Jolie Patel shares how the ICS helped her grow professionally, improve compliance, and enhance patient experience, proving ICS is a must-have resource for every chiropractic team.

Marc:
Hi, I’m with Jolie Patel, who is the office manager for Advanced Physical Medicine and Therapy up in the Mount Prospect area, I don’t know, sometimes you just plug it into the GPS and drive, but actually, here visiting Dr Vijay, and so she is just going to talk to us a little bit about why from an office manager perspective, the ICS is important to her. So go ahead, Jolie, talk to us about that.

Jolie:
So like so many people in the chiropractic industry, especially staff, I came in without specific training, right? Like the docs all have a specific set of training, I came in from education, a different area, and I feel like the ICS has been so important to me because they help teach me, kind of what the right thing to do for compliance is. There’s a huge library of resources and videos that you can watch. I see Marc like weekly on my phone with his YouTube videos and Instagram videos that he posts, and he talks about really relevant issues to running a business. And so I think it’s great for staff training. You know, we go to the conferences and watch the things that are more appropriate for kind of staff members. And I think it’s just made me so much more effective at my job. It’s made our office just a more pleasant place to be, which all translates to patient experience.

Marc:
Cool, thanks. Anything else you want people to know? Or what are they missing out on? Do you think that if they’re not a part of the ICS, or if they are a part of the ICS, and maybe they don’t realize all of the different benefits?

Jolie:
I think you’re missing out on the well, you know, like I said, the education component, but I also think that you’re missing out on the support that you can get when you have an unusual situation in your office, like you can send them an email and I will get an answer to resources or with different ideas about how I can approach that situation, because those things always come up.

Cool. Well, thank you. Thanks for just weighing in as far as the ICS goes, as an office manager or somebody that isn’t necessarily the doctor. So we always like to hear, we love to hear from our doctors, staff, and team. We hope that we’re able to be a resource for you as well. So thanks a lot.
