Telemedicine – Methodologies for Communications

This week’s video covers the scope of the Medical Practice Act and the methodologies for communications. The Medical Practice Act leaves the methods of communication pretty open. As such, the Act allows for many different methods for communication in an effort to allow doctors and patients the flexibility to utilize telemedicine. We also address some pitfalls regarding the reading of radiological films. As a reminder the state that the patient lives in is key.
