So I’m here with Dr. Joe Betz, who is the president of the ICA, and Dr. Kris Anderson, who is the current president of the American Chiropractic Association, and really we’re just here to answer a couple of questions. The questions that we’re getting from our doctors are, you know, is this ICA ACA thing legit, and is really now the time? Is this the window that we have for this Medicare thing that we’ve been working on for so long? And so, really, as opposed to hearing it from me, I want you to hear it from both of them. So, what do y’all think? Where are we at with this?
Dr. Anderson:
Well, Marc, thanks for the chance to talk to your members. I know, as an ACA president, working closely with the ICA president is really exciting, and we’re here at the FCA National sharing that same message with everyone here, and we’re glad to be able to share it with your audience at home too. But it’s absolutely real. There’s never been a better time to get behind a push to modernize Medicare for the chiropractic profession, and it’s a real joy to be able to work closely with the ICA because we went on Capitol Hill together last month, and we’re pushing hard to make sure that we can deliver this this Congress.
Dr. Betz:
Yeah, the the time really is right now, and we’ve never had a better time than than right now because we are working together cooperatively, collaborating regularly. Kris and I are in touch with each other weekly, working on this, and with others throughout the profession as well. So it’s really a large collaborative effort, and the time is now. The window is short, and so we really do need people to take action right away.
Marc:
Yeah, this is your time. So what we’re going to do, I’m going to make sure that I include some links down below for the call to action, and you need to make contact with your congresspersons today.
