Illinois permits the issuance of permits for chiropractic physicians who are licensed in other jurisdictions to practice as Visiting Professor, Temporary Visiting Physician and Limited Visiting Physician for limited periods of time without additional examination. Although these permits rarely have been applied for by chiropractic physicians, they are equally available to medical, osteopathic and medical doctors. The requirements may be found in Section 1285.100 of the Rules (68 Ill. Adm. Code 1285.100)
