Jerry Rice Credits Chiropractic

In an article printed by the Chicago Sun-Times on Sunday, NFL Hall of Famer and current spokesman for the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress, Jerry Rice, credited chiropractic for extending his career. After suffering lower back stiffness, team member Roger Craig suggested he visit a chiropractor. He began seeing California chiropractor Dr. Nick Athens, and states “I probably would have played at least five years less because you put your body through so much pain.”Rice continued seeing Dr. Athens after his football career ended and now serves as a broadcaster. Meanwhile, he has represented the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress through advertisements in Sports Illustrated, USA Today, and The Wall Street Journal.
