Celebrate 100 years of ICS and 250 years of independence. Join a once-in-a-lifetime weekend of education, connection, and celebration as we honor the past and build the future of chiropractic in Illinois.

This July 4 is a big one. Our country is celebrating 250 years of independence. 2026 is also a huge year for the Illinois Chiropractic Society, as we’re celebrating 100 years. Both of those anniversaries are about people who believed something was worth building and worth defending. Founded in 1926, the ICS has spent a century on the same three things that we’re dedicated to today, and that’s advocating for the chiropractic profession, and educating and informing our chiropractic physicians right here in Illinois.
100 years is not the ICS or the association’s achievements; it’s actually yours. Every doctor who joined, renewed, showed up, and stood up for the chiropractic profession in Illinois. Our country’s independence was never a one-time event, and the ICS is not a finished story either. We stand on the shoulders of giants, and here’s the cool part: we’re going to be celebrating with those giants in one month, right at the end of July. We’re going to begin a celebration event on Saturday night, August 1; we’re going to have our huge gala celebration, where we’re going to have dueling pianos, Roaring 20s. We’re going to have doctors from all over the state, doctors who are instrumental in the development of the profession in Illinois and seeing it into the future. They’re going to be joining you and us as we celebrate 100 years.
We’re also having an entire weekend plan, so from Friday to Sunday, we’ve got team-building events and sessions, along with practice-building sessions. Those are things you do not want to miss. Additionally, we’ve got things like golf, and there’s a spa, there are nature walks, and pickleball available. All of these things are going to be happening, and we have a job fair, which is ChiroConnect. It’s a first-time attempt here in Illinois to be able to really connect those who are seeking employment with those who are looking for the right team members for their practice. That’s going to be happening on Saturday afternoon.
