Urgent: Submit Your Witness Slip to Support HB 3033 Today!
The Illinois Chiropractic Society is supporting HB 3033 in the Illinois General Assembly. The bill, sponsored by State Representative Janet Yang Rohr (D-Naperville), would authorize chiropractic physicians to perform student athletic health examinations and to serve on concussion oversight teams for elementary and high schools.
The bill has been posted for a hearing before the House Education Policy Committee next Wednesday morning, March 19, 2025. You are urged to complete a witness slip declaring your support for the legislation. Here are the steps:
- Visit House of Representatives website;
- Complete the information identifying yourself;
- Under “POSITION”, click on “Proponent;”
- Under “TESTIMONY”, click on “Record of Appearance Only” and
- Click on the box next to “I Agree to the ILGA Terms of Agreement;” and
- Click on “Create (Slip)” button on the bottom right.
Use your business name (practice name) under “Firm/Business or Agency,” and your title with your company (i.e., CEO, Medical Director, Chiropractic Physician, etc.).
Your witness slip will become part of the HB3033’s record and show your support for this important legislation.
