The Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act requires most employers in the state to provide a minimum of 40 hours of paid leave per year to employees for any reason. The law establishes three key compliance areas: (1) public notice requirements, (2) documentation and recordkeeping, and (3) written policy updates.
