Governor Proclaims October 2022 as Chiropractic Healthcare Month

Governor JB Pritzker has issued a proclamation designating October 2022 as Chiropractic Healthcare Month. The proclamation was issued on Friday, September 9.

The proclamation highlights the benefits and importance of chiropractic care throughout the State. It also recognizes the dedication chiropractic physicians have to their patients. Every year, approximately two million patients in Illinois visit chiropractic physicians. Nationwide, over 30 million Americans do so.

The Governor’s action recognizes and celebrates the safe, drug-free approach to pain relief and wellness that chiropractic offers.

State chiropractic organizations all around the country, along with the American Chiropractic Association, will celebrate Chiropractic Healthcare Month. The proclamation is available on the Illinois Chiropractic Society here. To show support and raise awareness for this recognition, you are encouraged to post the proclamation in your office.
