Governor Pritzker has issued a proclamation to designate October 2021 as Chiropractic Health Care Month in Illinois! The recognition comes at a time when we have made great strides in increasing access to chiropractic care, such as the inclusion of chiropractic in the Medicaid program, as well as continuing to advocate for the pending Medicare amendment that would provide coverage for many additional services. Congress is now out of session for the August recess. This means Congresspersons are back home in their districts and connecting with constituents. This is a great time for constituents to reach out to their members of Congress about the Chiropractic Medicare Coverage Modernization Act of 2021 (H.R. 2654).
