Each year, the Illinois Chiropractic Society recognizes some of the profession’s most dedicated and influential chiropractic physicians through its highest honor, the Illinois Chiropractic Physician of the Year Award. Previous recipients represent generations of leadership, service, and commitment to advancing chiropractic care in Illinois. It is a distinguished group of individuals who have helped shape our profession and the ICS into what they are today.
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Erin Strauch has been named the 2026 Illinois Chiropractic Physician of the Year, joining this exceptional group of chiropractic physicians.

Dr. Strauch’s selection reflects not only her professional accomplishments, but also the respect she has earned from her colleagues and her longstanding commitment to the profession. Her contributions to the ICS, her willingness to step forward when leadership was needed, and her determination to make a difference exemplify the qualities this award was created to recognize.
The award was presented during the recent ICS Fall Convention, where Dr. Craig Revermann shared the following remarks recognizing Dr. Strauch’s accomplishments, leadership, and service.
Each year since 1956, the ICS has reserved its highest honor for one of its own – the chiropractic physician of the year. It recognizes the chiropractic physician whose skill, integrity, and service reflect the very best of the profession: In the practice, in the community, and on behalf of patients and colleagues across Illinois. These are the men and women who have carried the society’s founding belief – that natural, conservative care belongs at the front of health care – and set the standard for those who follow.
This year’s nominating committee met and discussed previous and new potential candidates for the 2026 Chiropractor of the Year award. The committee unanimously agreed that one candidate stood out for her dedication and commitment to the profession, the community she serves, and for the example she sets everyday.
With over 18 years of hands-on clinical experience, our recipient has built a reputation for excellence in patient care, specializing in conservative, non-surgical treatment for complex muscle, joint, nerve, and disc conditions. She holds double board certifications in Rehabilitation and Orthopedics, reflecting her deep expertise and commitment to evidence-based practices that help patients recover active, pain-free lives.
Beyond her clinical practice, this individual is a distinguished leader within the healthcare community. Having served as President of the Illinois Chiropractic Society, her advocacy, mentorship, and tireless work to advance the standards of patient care have made a lasting impact across the state. On a personal note, I would like to share with everyone an example of her dedication to the ICS. When I was serving as the 2nd Vice President, the 1st Vice President had to step away from his position due to professional obligations, at the time, I was not prepared to step directly into the role as President at the end of that current term. This person volunteered to serve another year as President to allow me the time to get my affairs in order to transition into this role and for that, I am eternally grateful. I mentioned earlier 3 components that define the Chiropractor of the year are service, integrity and skill. Through this gracious act and sacrifice, she displayed her service and integrity.
As a personal trainer, kettlebell instructor, and pelvic floor rehabilitation specialist, she continuously integrates holistic movement and active functional recovery into every aspect of her care.
This well-deserved honor highlights her unwavering passion, clinical leadership, and total dedication to empowering her patients and elevating the chiropractic profession. It is my pleasure to present to you Dr. Erin Strauch, The Chiropractor of the Year for 2026!!!!
