One of the great privileges of being a chiropractic physician is having the opportunity to help people. Hopefully, many people. And with many people come many different personalities. Over the years, I have come to challenge myself to find something about everyone that I like and/or admire. This is easy with most people, more difficult with others. But every person has a different story, different life experiences, and different perspectives. Every day, I learn from my patients. Their presence in my life is very enriching, and I hope that on most days, I am able to return the favor. As patients share with us their joys and sorrows, we become woven into the fabric of their lives.

Against enormous odds and obstacles, the chiropractic profession has advanced admirably into mainstream American fiber. However, collectively, we often take one step forward and two steps back, and professionally, we endure daily discrimination from insurance companies, government programs, allopathic organizations and ourselves.
